That's My Baby!

Babies need special attention before and during the eruption of their primary teeth. These teeth are important in so many ways. Help your baby develop strong healthy teeth and gums by simple and sensible oral care routines.

Baby's First Teeth
Parents will often know that their baby’s first tooth is about to arrive by the signs of teething and crankiness. Most baby teeth erupt in a general pattern at particular stages in a child’s growth. These baby teeth are as important as permanent teeth and need just as much oral care.

Baby Bottle Tooth Decay or Nursing Bottle Syndrome
Beware of Baby Bottle Tooth Decay! Milk left on a baby’s teeth at night or the excessive use of a bottle during the day can cause tooth decay. Know what to look for and how to prevent early loss of your baby's teeth.

Babies and Pacifiers
It is only natural for babies to be soothed by sucking and often their fingers and thumbs are the objects they choose. A pacifier (dummy, soother) offers parents an alternative in order to allow for proper development and alignment of baby and permanent teeth. There are some important cautions to consider.
